So first let me confess one thing clearly, that I am a huge Tresemme fan. I have been using tresemme shampoos for like years now. So recently I thought of trying out the new Tresemme Detox and Restore shampoo. And today I’ll be sharing my review about it. So let’s move on to it.
As you can see in the picture the shape of the bottle is different from the usual cylindrical shape. But yes it is also available in the usual cylindrical shape.The new botanique range comes with a pretty green colour packaging.
Talking about smell, the smell of this shampoo has a herbal touch in it. It is strong but yet fresh and pleasant. I am kind of ok with the smell and I loved the smell of the other variant of the botanique collection.
My scalp is kind of oily and this shampoo removes the oiliness from my scalp perfectly. It cleans the oil and dirt from the roots of my hair making my hair feel fresh and clean all day long.
I used to face the problem of frizzy hair, and after using this shampoo I actually have frizz free hair now. Although it gives best results when used with its conditioner.
Another good thing the shampoo does to my hair is, it adds a beautiful volume to my hair. And when used with the conditioner, it makes my hair bouncy and manageable all day long.
This shampoo claims to detoxify and restore dull and damaged hair. I would not say it fully does that, but it does upto a certain extent. I have not seen any great results of its detoxification and restoring on my hair. You have to use it on daily basis to detoxify and restore your hair texture.
