English is a very sweet language. And it has been my favourite subject since my school days.But often and then I come across people who keep complaining about not being fluent in English or not being good in this language. So I am sharing some tips that I have been following to improve my grip over this language.

LOVE THE LANGUAGE-
Ok so first things first. The first and foremost thing is your love for the language. Yes if you don’t love the language you will not feel the interest towards learning and knowing more about this language.
So now if you are here reading my article then it can be assumed that you are interested towards this language. So now let’s move on to the next point.

READ ENGLISH NEWSPAPERS AND BOOKS-
Yes howsoever boring this may sound to you, but believe me this is really gonna help you improve your fluency. Basically fluency is the pace at which you speak or rather in simpler words it is the speed of your speaking i.e. while speaking in English you speak continuously and pause whenever it is needed and not take unnecessary breaks or pauses. And this will only happen if have a grip over various words and phrases in English, which you can easily have if you read newspaper and books more often.

WATCH ENGLISH MOVIES/SHOWS/ NEWS-
If you are not a fan of reading then this one is for you. This is also very important for improving your fluency. By watching English movies , shows or even watching news you can not only know about various words and phrases but about their correct pronounciation which will help you in your fluency.

PRACTICE-
We all are aware of the well known saying that practice makes a man perfect. To excel in anything you need to practice that very thing more and more. Same goes for your fluency too. Speak more often in English, the more you speak and practice the more your fluency will improve.
Now some of you may complain that, not every time you will have someone to speak with, in English, right ? So now let me share a little secret with you all. I love English as a language and I love speaking in English more than any language. But it is not often, that I get the chance to speak in English.
But I need to improve my fluency too, So what I do is talk to myself in English. No no, not in public , but ofcourse when I am alone.You might think how silly I am, talking to myself in English. But believe me it actually works like magic.Now that I have shared my secret trick with you all, do practice more and more and speaking in English fluently, wouldn’t be a hard nut to crack for you, anymore.
