So, there are basically FIVE skin types. Here, have a look at their features or characteristics, whatever you call it and decide which of the features match with your skin type. And once you do that, then voila ! now you know your exact skin type.
NORMAL SKIN
Features:
- Neither is dry nor oily (i.e. Normal duh !)
- Does not change with the temperature or weather
- Has no visible pores
- Rarely has breakouts , pimples or acne
- Is basically flawless !
So, does your skin have these features ? Then, congrats ! you are blessed with Normal Skin type.
DRY SKIN
Features:
- Dry always, or easily becomes dry even after applying moisturizer
- Patches of flaky skin
- Tight, rough and itchy skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
If you have these features for your skin, then your skin type is Dry. But yes, do not think having a dry skin is the end of your world. With proper care and nourishment, your skin can be normal too.
OILY SKIN
Features:
- Shiny and greasy all over
- The T-zone is more oily as compared to the cheeks, jaw line
- Becomes dull very quickly throughout the day
- Blackheads , Whiteheads and Acne
- Clogged pores

COMBINATION SKIN
Features:
- Oily around the T- zone and normal to dry around the cheeks and jawline
